Secondary school # 1206 was opened in 1980, in subsequent years kindergartens and other secondary schools began to join it. Since 1983, foreign languages, mainly English, have been studied in depth in this educational institution. Graduates are famous for their success in passing the final exams, which allows the school to stay in the rankings of the best in Moscow and Moscow region.

Food is organized according to a cyclical menu. Students are offered two options for subscriptions: paid and reduced. Preferential meals are received by those children whose parents / legal representatives have submitted an application and the corresponding documents for belonging to the preferential category to the school principal.

You can pay for meals and products of the buffet using the "Moskvenok" card of the "Pass and Meals" system. 

Academic groups visit the cafeteria according to the general schedule at individual times, however, the buffet area serves those who wish at each break.

Secondary school # 1206 includes 11 buildings: schools and kindergartens. Each building where students study is equipped with classrooms, practical laboratories of natural science subjects, sports and assembly halls, and libraries. On the school grounds there are stadiums for running, playing football, basketball and volleyball, physical education.

The buildings of the preschool department provide all the necessary premises for the daytime stay of children: sleeping and play rooms, gyms, walking areas in the territories.

In some buildings there are additional education classrooms (workshops, dance studios, fine arts, etc.), a mobile planetarium, conference halls, business boards, and sensory rooms.

For children with disabilities, auxiliary mechanisms are provided: ramps, orthopedic furniture, play complexes, etc.

The academic year starts on September 1st and lasts 33-34 weeks depending on the class. Studying takes place in trimesters:

• December 1-February 28
• March 1 - May 21/28.

• December 31-January 10
• February 21-25 (February 20-28 for first grades)
• April 6-11
• May 21/28 - August 31.

Classes are held in one shift, five days a week - from Monday to Friday. The lesson lasts 35-45 minutes, depending on the level of education.

In school № 1206 there is a mini-OSIP organization that answers all questions of parents / legal representatives that arise when a child enrolls in a kindergarten or school department. Open House Days are held annually in November or December.
