School No. 2 in Stavropol was opened in 1936, from 1945 to 1954 only men studied at this educational institution. Today the school is a general education school, the teachers in it are laureates and winners of competitions in the educational sphere.
Basic primary educational program (7-10 years old): basic subjects.
Basic general education (11-16 years old): a program containing basic subjects and in-depth study of the disciplines selected for passing the GIA.
Secondary general education (17-18 years old): a program of general education subjects and in-depth study of the disciplines selected for passing the exam. Grades 10 are divided into profiles of in-depth study of general education subjects.
The school provides students with paid and discounted meals. Preferential meals are received by children from socially unprotected families (large families, low-income families, wards, disabled children, etc.).
In order to eat reduced-price meals, the child's parents / legal representatives must provide the school principal with certificates confirming that they belong to the privileged category and a completed application.
Outside of school hours, students of the school participate in subject Olympiads.
The training takes place in a three-storey building built in 1936, the sports and workshop annexes have been operating since 2005. The school building is equipped with an automatic fire alarm, a warning system, and the required number of fire extinguishers. For access to the school for people with disabilities, ramps, color plates, handrails are provided.
The classrooms of the school (17 classes) are equipped with materials and subjects for teaching, fiction and educational literature is stored in the library and is available to all students.
The gym is equipped with the necessary equipment; on the territory of the school there is a stadium with fields for mini-football, basketball and volleyball, gymnastic ladders and horizontal bars.
The academic year starts on September 1st and lasts 33-35 weeks depending on the class.

Children 6 years old and 6 months-8 years old are admitted to the first grades. As an exception, children at an earlier or later age may be admitted in agreement with the Education Committee of the city administration of Stavropol and if there are grounds for this.
For admission to grade 10, you will additionally need a copy of the certificate, the child's portfolio (if any). The future 10th grader will have to undergo profile testing.
