Samara State Institute of Culture is a unique university in the Samara region and the Volga region. The main task of SGIK is to reveal the talents of students and create competitive educational practices in the field of culture and art.

The implementation of the educational program at SGIK provides for the following formats: lectures, practical and seminar classes, extracurricular activities.

The structure of the SGIK includes:

On the basis of the Institute, conferences of international and all-Russian level are organized, monographs, scientific collections are published, scientific projects are developed for participation in grant programs

The soloist of the group "Hands up!" Sergey Zhukov is a graduate of SGIK.

SGIC has signed international agreements and agreements on cooperation with the CIS countries and neighboring countries: China, Belarus, Armenia, Bulgaria and others.

For nonresident students, SGIK provides a place in a dormitory. The total number of seats is 351. The dormitory has comfortable living conditions. The rooms are inhabited by 2-3 people, separately organized: a room for independent work, an Internet room, a gym, a recreation room. In addition, there is an isolation ward for the sick.

Cost of living:

• 500 rubles per month - for students-beneficiaries,

• 990 rubles per month - for those enrolled on a commercial basis.

The dormitory is located in the city center. There are grocery stores within walking distance, common kitchens are equipped in the building itself, and there is a canteen in the main educational building of SGIK.

Student life at SGIK is filled with cultural events. During their leisure time, students relax and develop skills, teachers and students of SGIK regularly take an active part in city festivals and events.

On the basis of the university there are more than 10 creative teams, including:

The educational buildings of SGIK are located in the Leninsky district of the city of Samara. The main building of the Institute is located next to the Samara Academic Drama Theater named after M. Gorky.

Classrooms and classrooms for practical classes are equipped with modern computer, audio and video equipment. Classrooms are equipped for: music lessons, acting, classes in monumental and decorative art.

Every year, more than 90% of graduates get a job in their specialty after graduating from SGIK.
