Ryazan branch of the Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation

The branch was established in 1998 in the city of Ryazan.

The learning process includes a course of lectures and seminars, practical and laboratory classes, educational and pre-diploma practice.

The educational process is organized in the following departments:

The Ryazan Branch has formed a mobile application "Fire Training. Part I. Makarov pistol": it provides information on the basics of the use of weapons, on safety measures during its operation.

The teaching staff consists of 111 people, including 3 doctors and 50 candidates of science, which ensures highly qualified preparation of the educational process.

The university provides a dormitory for nonresident full-time cadets.

For meals for cadets and employees, the university has a canteen in which three meals a day are provided at the expense of the federal budget.

To involve students in social and scientific activities, the university organizes and takes part in the following events:

The educational process takes place in four educational buildings, equipped with classrooms for lectures and seminars, practical and laboratory work. The classrooms are equipped with modern necessary equipment: projectors, screens and computers with the ability to access the Internet. Cadets are given free access to the educational library.

For sports, the university has:

• Interactive shooting gallery.

In the Russian Federation, the academic year is divided into two semesters: autumn and spring. At the end of each, an examination session is held, after passing the cadet has the right to take a winter or summer vacation.

Food and uniforms are fully provided by the state budget.

For admission to the Russian Federation, the Moscow State University must provide:

• Proof of identity, citizenship,
• State-recognized certificate of education and qualifications,
• Confirmation of registration in the system of individual (personalized) accounting (if any),
• Characteristics from the place of study,
• Personal sheet for personnel records.

If necessary, the applicant also provides:

• Proof of use of the right to admission within a special quota,
• Confirmation of individual achievements, the results of which are taken into account at admission,
• Proof of disability or disability,
• Report of an employee of the internal affairs bodies addressed to the head of the completing body on the referral to training,
• 4 photos 3x4.

The necessary package of documents is submitted to the university in person to the admissions office.

At the moment, about 1400 cadets are studying at the branch.

Upon completion of training at the branch, students become qualified specialists in the field of jurisprudence, can continue to serve in the structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

For admission to bachelor's and specialist's educational programs, an applicant must:

• Completed education not lower than secondary general,
• Points received for the exam are not lower than:
  • Mathematics — 27,
  • Russian language — 36,
  • Social Studies — 42.

The cadet's monetary allowance is:

• Official salary of the student,
• Salary for the special rank of "Private Police",
• Award for conscientious performance of official duties.
