Pskov branch of the Russian International Academy of Tourism, PF RMAT

The branch was established in 2002 in the city of Pskov.

The learning process includes a course of lectures and seminars, practical and laboratory classes, educational and pre-diploma practice.

The educational process is organized at the Department of Natural Sciences, Humanities and Specialization Disciplines.

The branch conducts research activities in the following areas:

• Economics and Management of the National Economy,
• Education and pedagogy. Theory and methodology of professional education.

The branch conducts international cooperation with the following organizations:

• The College of Tourism and Hotel Management,
• Latvian Business College,
• Logos Society,
• Voru County Vocational Centre,
• EE "Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov".

The university provides a dormitory for nonresident full-time students.

For meals for students and staff, the university has a café for 42 seats.

To involve students in social and scientific activities, the university organizes and takes part in the following events:

Educational activities are carried out on the basis of a single building, equipped with classrooms for lectures, seminars and practical classes. The classrooms are equipped with modern technology: projectors, screens and computers with Internet access.

Students are given free access to the library with a fund of 15,000 copies and a reading room.

For sports, the branch has a gym.

In the branch, the academic year is divided into two semesters: autumn and spring. At the end of each, an examination session is held, after passing the students, they are given vacations (in winter in January, in summer in July and August).
