Early childhood education

This is a special program for preschoolers that gives them the opportunity to try a variety of activities and gradually, smoothly start their educational journey. The program includes:

- Regular walks in the Matveevsky Garden.
Primary Grades (Grades 1-5)
- Children's age: 7-11 years old.
At this age, children already begin classical schooling: they will have a chance to try different directions, subjects and sciences for themselves, begin to understand what is most interesting for them, where they can prove themselves. The program includes lessons:

Middle Grades

The largest private school in St. Petersburg, Krylia, offers education from grades 1 to 11 in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standards, but with an individual approach that takes into account all the characteristics of each student. Experienced teachers, tutors and mentors help children to reveal their talents and abilities, smoothly lead them from one educational stage to another — from the age of 5 to the senior graduating classes. The full-time school "Wings" employs many teachers with the prestigious title of "Teacher of the Year" (from 2016 to 2019), candidates of sciences, teachers of the highest and first category. They are assisted by tutors (personal mentors) who, for example, help to deal with tests and exams, make sure that even difficult topics are mastered on time, and monitor the student's progress.
There are no more than 15 students in each class.
Education is conducted in Russian, but students can additionally study foreign languages: English (as the main language), Spanish or Chinese (optional).
The school team strives to create an individual curriculum for each child, taking into account personal interests and abilities, in order to create the most effective schedule that will make it possible to focus on priority areas and not exceed the teaching load.
Educational process
According to the Federal State Educational Standard, the Krylia educational program is divided into primary, middle and senior stages, ensuring the continuity of learning.
The school is open on weekdays (Monday-Friday): classes are held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the school is open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. — the afternoon is given over to circles and sections.
There are no homework assignments at the Krylia School: special "smart" breaks are provided for consolidating and reviewing the material.
Activities Private school "Wings"
The emphasis of Krylia is on all-round development, so the creative component is actively added to the academic component. Here children are offered a variety of circles, sections and clubs: foreign languages, art, cooking, pottery, carpentry, chess, business education (for high school students) and much more. Sports clubs (for example, table tennis) and a multilingual club (available even for kids 4-5 years old) are popular.
Facilities and equipment at Private school "Wings"
The school is located on the Petrograd side (Bolshaya Pushkarskaya, 35, Matveevsky Garden) and occupies 2500 sq. m. on 5 floors. There are areas for education, recreation, creativity and sports, 30 classrooms (with scientific stands and appropriate equipment) are well equipped, including:
- 3 specialized classrooms for mathematics, physics and science lessons: they include laboratory equipment, Tesla coils and electric motors,
- Library (more than 8000 books).
Enrolment process
All applicants must apply for admission, attend the Open Day: excursions are organized for small groups of 3-5 people, include a full tour of all 5 floors, personal communication with the director, pleasant and useful branded souvenirs.
