Perm State Agrarian and Technological University named after Academician D.N. Pryanishnikov (Perm GATU) is the first higher educational institution of agrarian profile in the Urals. The history of the university began in 1918, when teaching took place at the Agricultural Faculty of Perm State University. In 1930, the faculty became a separate institution - the Ural Agricultural Institute, and in 2017 it received its current name.

Currently, training in perm GATU takes place on the basis of several specialized faculties:
