The Perm branch of the Higher School of Economics was established on September 12, 1997.

The learning process includes:

The Perm branch of the Higher School of Economics includes the Faculty of Socio-Economic and Computer Science and 3 departments:

• Management
• Economics and Finance,
• Foreign languages.

In addition, the Branch includes:

The main areas of research of the Perm branch of the Higher School of Economics:

• Application of theoretical models, use of statistical and econometric methods in relation to real data,
• Classification of markers of the academic register of the English language and evaluation metrics for the description of style attributes based on the methods of corpus statistical analysis and ontological engineering,
• Neuroeconomic studies of consumer behavior: neuronal correlates and behavioral factors.

The Perm branch of the Higher School of Economics provides 3 dormitories with 665 beds. The cost of living ranges from 393 to 807 rubles per month.

For meals for students and employees, the Branch is equipped with 4 canteens.

To involve students in social and scientific activities, the Perm branch of the Higher School of Economics organizes and takes part in the following events:

The education process is conducted in 5 educational and laboratory buildings equipped with bright classrooms and computer classes. The classrooms are equipped with video conferencing devices, whiteboards, projectors, computers and interactive whiteboards.

Students are given free access to the central library and the library department in a dormitory with 80 seats.

For sports, the branch has 3 sports halls.

At HSE's Perm branch, the academic year is divided into two semesters: autumn and spring. At the end of each, an examination session is held, after passing the students, they are given vacations (in winter in January, in summer in July and August).
