For accommodation of non-resident and foreign students, 5 dormitories are equipped.
- 3 buildings — corridor type. The rooms are occupied by 2-3 people, kitchens are equipped, there are showers, laundries, buffets, rooms for self-study.
- 2 buildings have an apartment-type layout. Each residential block of these dormitories has a separate kitchen, balcony, shower room, bathroom. From 3 to 9 people live in the blocks.

The main part of osu educational buildings is located in the city center. In total, the University has about 9 educational buildings at its disposal.
All lecture-type classrooms are equipped with whiteboards and multimedia equipment (computers, projectors, sound recording and sound reproducing devices). Classrooms for practical exercises are additionally equipped with information racks and stands, machine tools, measuring instruments and other technical equipment.

September 1 is the beginning of the academic year at OSU. The end of the school year depends on the schedule of the educational process. One course consists of two semesters and two intermediate examination sessions.
Holidays during one academic year are 7-10 weeks in duration, excluding holidays.
The average cost of living on campus is 1200 rubles per month.
Enrolment process
Acceptance of documents for full-time education at OSU begins on June 20 of this year. At the same time, an applicant can apply for 5 directions. Deadlines for the reception of documents:
- Until July 15 - for persons entering on the basis of the results of entrance examinations conducted by OSU independently;
- Until July 25 - for persons entering the unified state exam.
