The educational institution was founded in 1993 in the city of Novorossiysk.

The learning process includes a course of lectures and seminars, practical and laboratory classes, educational and pre-diploma practice.

The educational process is organized in the following departments:

The educational process is conducted on the basis of one educational building, equipped with classrooms for lectures and seminars. The classrooms are equipped with modern equipment: projectors, screens, computers and audio and video equipment.

Students are given access to a study library with a reading room for 30 seats.

For sports, the university provides a gym and sports classes.

In the Novorossiysk branch of the Financial University, the academic year is divided into two semesters: autumn and spring. At the end of each of them, an examination session is held, after passing the students, they are given vacations (in winter in January, in summer in July and August).
