The educational program at NLCS is based on the national education system in England and the International Baccalaureate (IB) program for students up to 16 years old. After passing the final exams, students choose between the A-Level program or the IB Diploma course in the Sixth Form.

North London Collegiate School, located on the western outskirts of Edgware, is one of London's leading schools. NLCS is housed on a vast and beautiful 30-acre grounds, with the campus surrounded by green trees and shrubs. The junior school is on campus and has its own separate facilities, including its own science labs, ICT technology, a playground and a library. Sixth Form students have their own facilities, including a common room, library, and classrooms.

The academic year at North London Collegiate School lasts about 10 months and is divided into three trimesters: autumn, spring and summer. The school year starts in September and ends in June. To ensure sufficient time for rest and recovery, there are holidays between trimesters.

When deciding to enroll in North London Collegiate School, a girl and her parents should take the following steps:

1. Visit the school on the Open Day,
2. Fill out the online registration form, pay the registration fee and send everything to the Admissions Office,
3. All applicants who register for admission will be invited to NLCS to complete the first stage of assessment. The assessment lasts approximately one hour + girls take part in a number of activities aimed at assessing their readiness for school.
4. Some candidates will be re-invited to take the second stage of certification. Girls entering junior school will be invited to a trial school day. Older girls will be invited for an interview.
5. After evaluation, successful candidates receive offers.

In total, about 1000 girls from 4 to 18 years old study at NLCS.

NLCS is one of the leading schools not only nationally but also globally: it is ranked first in the UK in the IB Diploma Programme, and the GPA of its female graduates always remains at the highest level, never dropping below 40 points (out of a possible 45).

The well-deserved success of NLCS students leads to the opportunity to enter the best universities – not only in the UK, but also abroad. Girls receive invitations to study at prestigious institutions: Oxford and Cambridge universities, Ivy League universities and equivalent ones - Columbia University, Princeton, Stanford and the University of California at Los Angeles.

NLCS is a selective school: all applicants are tested before being offered a place. Girls over the age of 11 take an entrance exam consisting of written papers in English and mathematics, and may be invited for an additional interview.

International girls must have a good command of English, have an overall IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent.

Since its founding in 1850, North London Collegiate School has been providing financial support to girls who promise to succeed in school, show strong potential, but whose families cannot afford the tuition. NLCS offers scholarships to female students entering high school at ages 11 and 16. The scholarship can cover any part of the cost of tuition (up to 100% of the fee), lunches, transportation for bus users (50% discount on travel), uniform subsidies, compulsory study equipment, exam fees, and mandatory travel for those who are eligible. Currently, 78 NLCS students receive financial support in the form of scholarships.
