The process of formation of NTI (branch) of UrFU is carried out in 2 educational buildings equipped with classrooms. The classrooms are equipped with the equipment necessary for the education of specialists: a scanning electron microscope, an optical professional microscope and a microhardness tester, a welding surfacing complex, a set of equipment for welding, control and preparation of materials, a set of equipment based on a programmable logic controller, etc.
