NAS Jiaxing is an international school with a multinational student community that teaches pre—school, primary, secondary, and senior education programs in two languages: English and Chinese. Children from 3 to 18 years old study here.

NAS Jiaxing is part of a large educational group, being one of the few schools in China offering bilingual education. NAS Jiaxing Residence provides students of all grades, excluding the preschool department, with excellent living conditions during the academic year. Students stay on campus for five weekdays, going home on weekends. In the residential building, four-bed rooms with full furniture, private sleeping and work places, and a bathroom have been prepared for them. The rooms are occupied by children of the same gender and about the same age — this approach ensures comfort and safety.

There are self-study and additional classrooms, recreation areas, creative workshops, a laundry room, and a small kitchen for preparing snacks and drinks. Together with the students, staff are stationed in the building, providing round-the-clock supervision and care of pupils.

Every week, the dining room's menu is updated, offering students a taste of national and international cuisine; if desired, they can bring packed lunches and snacks from home or arrange a meal plan in advance.

NAS Jiaxing's extracurricular activities offer students to participate in more than 100 activities, from sports clubs and competitions, creative circles to charity events, scientific seminars. Throughout the year, collective events are organized on campus, bringing students together and providing an opportunity to show their talent at a performance. The biggest events stipulate festive concerts and graduation parties.

NAS Jiaxing cooperates with several leading organizations — The Juilliard School, The Massachusetts Institute of Technology and UNICEF, so that its students can develop their abilities at a more professional level, whether it's talent in music, sports endeavors or hobbies in the field of STEM. Each of the organizations holds thematic events during which students get acquainted with leading industry experts, show their abilities to a wider audience, and learn new things. NAS Jiaxing is located in Jiaxing, occupying a fairly large area, which includes several academic buildings, sports facilities and outdoor areas for training, walking and recreation. The school boasts a variety of specialized facilities:

The academic years is divided into two semesters:

Classes are conducted on weekdays: from Monday to Friday, and rest is provided on weekends and holidays, during seasonal vacations. Extracurricular activities are organized after the main lessons, and occasionally on weekends.

Foreign applicants wishing to enroll in any academic program must have a foreign passport, medical insurance, a visa or residence permit. Depending on age, the requirements for applicants will vary slightly: the older the applicant, the higher their level of English proficiency and better academic preparation should be.
