NACIS Shanghai is an international school with a multinational student community located in Shanghai, offering elementary, middle, and high school programs. The teaching is conducted in two languages: English and Chinese.

Founded in 2016, NACIS Shanghai is currently one of the few bilingual schools in China accredited by UK educational institutions. Since its opening, NACIS Shanghai has been achieving outstanding academic results and helping students enter the best universities around the world.

Students are provided with a wide range of opportunities to achieve success: from subject-rich programs, comprehensive teacher support, additional private lessons with teachers and scientific seminars to diverse extracurricular activities, trips and creative, athletic development. During studies, students can turn to any of the teachers to supplement the main curriculum with individual classes: they will be able to re-take difficult topics or expand their academic horizons by studying an area that interests them in more depth. In addition to subject teachers, career specialists are also ready to provide assistance, who organize seminars on the rules and ways of enteringleading universities, help select a university according to the interests and abilities of each student.

Studying is organized at several levels of school education:

• Elementary — elementary school for students aged 6-12,
• Middle — middle classes for students aged 13 to 15 years,
• High — high classes for students aged 16-18 years.

At the high school, students have a choice of specialization: an international diploma program or an A-Level program.

Students stay at the NACIS Shanghai Residence for five academic days a week, from Monday to Friday, and go home for the weekend. The residential building accommodates boys and girls on different floors, in quadruple rooms according to their age. The rooms are fully furnished, have a bathroom, providing each tenant with their own sleeping and work space. The building has common areas: recreation areas, laundry, self-study and additional classrooms, playgrounds for walking and many others.

The menu of dishes served every day in the dining room is updated weekly and includes recipes of national and international cuisine. Students can arrange a meal plan in advance or bring packed lunches./snacks from home.

The NACIS Shanghai leisure program consists of more than 200 clubs, sections and events, through which students will discover their talents and develop their abilities in the areas they are interested in. Extracurricular activities are divided into three main areas:

• Scientific and technical innovations — seminars, workshops and clubs, allowing you to study advanced technologies of our time: computer science, mathematics, design, robotics and others. Students participate in competitions and innovative projects, acquiring applied skills.,
• Art is the unfolding of creative potential in singing, playing musical instruments, acting, dancing, visual arts and other areas.,
• Sports — there are many sections for every taste: from football, basketball, volleyball and golf to table tennis, rowing, badminton. National teams and individual athletes participate in interscholastic and regional competitions and actively earn external awards.

The variety of clubs is added with annual large—scale trips to southern China and other countries, such as the rainforests of Tanzania and the snow-capped peaks of the Alps in Switzerland.

NACIS Shanghai has its own bus fleet offering safe and timely transportation of students from school to home, from home to classes. Buses follow a specific schedule and routes.

Academic year is divided into two semesters:

• Autumn: September-February,
• Spring: March-June.

Classes are conducted from Monday to Friday, and on weekends and holidays, students have a rest during the seasonal vacations. Extracurricular activities are held immediately after the main lessons, and can be organized on weekends.
