The IPCC was founded on January 28, 1913 and trains specialists in the field of culture and art.

The learning process includes a course of lectures and seminars, practical classes, educational, industrial and pre-diploma practice.

The educational process is organized at the following faculties:

• state cultural policy,
• Media Communications and Audiovisual Arts,
• musical art,
• choreographic
• theatrical and directing,
• library and information.

IPCC provides 3 apartment-type dormitories and a corridor-type dormitory for 1900 beds. The cost of living is up to 2534 rubles.

For meals for students and staff, the institute has a canteen / buffet for 250 seats.

Education at the IPCC takes place in 6 educational buildings, equipped with classrooms and classrooms for practical, small-group and individual lessons. The classrooms are equipped with everything you need: grand piano, piano, harpsichord, modern PCs, projectors and multiboards, choreographic machines, etc.

Students are given free access to the library for 104 seats.

For sports, the institute has a sports complex.

At IPCC, the academic year is divided into two semesters: autumn and spring. At the end of each, an examination session is held, after which students are given a vacation (in winter in January, in summer in July and August).

For admission to bachelor's and specialist's educational programs, an applicant must:
