To date, the MGHPA is a multidisciplinary art academy that trains specialists in various fields of design, historians and art theorists, monumental painters and sculptors, metal, ceramics and glass artists, restorers of monumental painting, furniture and art metal.

Scientific achievements
Scientific conferences are held at the Academy , both in full-time and in a remote format. Based on the results of the conferences, a collection of materials is prepared in the format of a collective monograph. Based on the results of various competitions, collections of competitive materials of students and postgraduates of the Academy are published. The authors of the articles receive a small volume with their first publication.
Together with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Moscow State Academy of Fine Arts and the Student Scientific Society is holding a patriotic action "Scientific Regiment", which collects materials on significant stories about students and teachers during the Great Patriotic War and the contribution of scientific teams to our Victory. Essays and articles on the development of science and art during the Great Patriotic War are also published. Activities Moscow State Academy of Art and Industry named after S.G. Stroganov
The Stroganov Olympiad is held at the Academy, the purpose of which is to identify and attract the most prepared and talented students to the Moscow State Academy of Fine Arts. Pupils of grades 6-11 who have artistic training, as well as students of institutions of secondary art vocational education, additional education, etc. The winners of the Olympiad are awarded a diploma of the I degree and can count on the provision of benefits when entering the Academy.
Since 2008, the Academy has had an "Exhibition Department", for all the time of its work it has taken part in the organization and support of more than 300 exhibitions. In the halls of the Stroganov Academy, outstanding creators of our time were exhibited. The exhibition department actively maintains contact with creative unions: the Union of Artists of Russia, the Creative Union of Artists of Russia, the Moscow Union of Artists and art educational institutions of Russia.
On the basis of the Moscow State Agricultural Academy, an electronic portal "International Stroganov Club" was created. This is an information environment in which like-minded people and professionals communicate. Having joined the Club, everyone has the opportunity to participate in conferences, exhibitions, events of the Club, get access to the methodological materials of the Club, its master classes and online courses.
The Academy also has a Student Council and a Student Scientific Society.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol
Applicants with secondary general, secondary vocational or higher education, confirmed by the relevant document, are allowed to master the programs.
Admission is held on a competitive basis based on the results of the Unified State Exam and (or) on the basis of the results of entrance examinations conducted by the Institute independently.
Entrance tests:

- Literature;
- History (optional, only for the specialty "Theory and History of Art");
- Foreign language English / French (optional, only for the specialty "Theory and History of Art");
- Composition (mandatory professional test, except for the specialty "Theory and History of Art");
- Drawing and painting (mandatory creative test, except for the specialty "Theory and History of Art").
The minimum number of points for all entrance tests is 40.
