The Moscow Institute of Modern Academic Education (MISAO) is one of the most popular non-state higher institutions due to high-quality correspondence and distance programs.
IISAO has been developing a distance learning platform for 30 years. It offers more than 350 programs of secondary vocational education, bachelor's degree, which can be completed in full-time format. For all the time of its existence, the university has graduated about 30,000 specialists in various fields: economics, pedagogy, information technology, law and others.
Accommodation, meals, prices
The institution does not provide accommodation in a dormitory. In the main building of the university there is a cafe where students can have a snack in between classes.

Every year the university organizes solemn events in honor of graduates. Since most students choose distance learning, there are no thematic clubs in IISAO.
The Department of Physical Education organizes group and individual education in team sports, cardio and strength classes.

Admission dates and extra charges
- Full-time education involves visiting IISAO from September to June. The program contains two sessions and several semesters.
- Full-time and part-time education takes place from October to July. Students visit the university during the sessions: winter and summer.
- The correspondence (distance) format is the receipt of education with several semesters and two sessions per year without visiting the campus.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol
Admission to secondary education programs is possible after the end of 9 or 11 grades of school, for bachelor's programs - after the end of 11 classes. The applicant should submit to the admission committee a school certificate, the results of the Unified State Exam (if any) and pass the entrance tests.
Applicants to programs, professional qualifications (postgraduate studies) must provide a bachelor's or master's degree, a scorecard and individual achievements, if any. All applicants pass entrance exams, are enrolled on a competitive basis.
Documents for all directions are accepted from May to August, depending on the preferred form of study.

Since IISAO is a non-state university, scholarships are not provided at the institution.
Students of privileged categories are entitled to discounts on tuition fees - from 5 to 20%, subject to a one-time payment for the academic year.
