MaGK (Academy) named after M.I. Glinka was founded on September 15, 1993.

The learning process includes a course of lectures and seminars, practical classes, educational, industrial and pre-diploma practice.

MaGK named after M.I. Glinka provides 2 dormitories for 229 places.

For meals for students and staff, the conservatory has a dining room for 70 seats.

To involve students in social and scientific activities , the M.I. Glinka MaGC organizes and takes part in the following events:

The process of formation of the M.I. Glinka Magc is carried out in 3 buildings equipped with classrooms, laboratories, classrooms and halls. The classrooms are well equipped: piano, midi keyboards, piano, grand pianos, computer, printer, interactive whiteboard, projectors, a set of visual aids, etc.

Students are given free access to the library with a reading room and with the Department of Audiovisual Publications.

For sports, the conservatory has a gym.

At the M.I. Glinka MaGK, the academic year is divided into two semesters: autumn and spring. At the end of each, an examination session is held, after which students are given a vacation (in winter in January, in summer in July and August).

The Glinka MaGK has a Service for the Promotion of Student Employment and Graduate Employment, which cooperates with the directors of the Children's Art School and the heads of district departments of culture. The service 2 times a year holds meetings with graduate courses of college and university, informing students about the availability of job vacancies and social guarantees for young professionals, organizes secondary employment of students in their free time.

For admission to bachelor's and specialist's educational programs, an applicant must:

• Successful completion of the entrance test - not lower:

For admission to postgraduate programs, you must:

As material support for students, the M.I. Glinka State Conservatory allocates the following types of scholarships for students:
