The Balashikha Lyceum was opened in 1949 and for more than 20 years has been a specialized school of the M.V. N.E.Bauman. For the high quality of training of graduates, the Lyceum was awarded the status of an educational and methodological Center for the preparation of applicants at the Moscow State Technical University. N.E.Bauman. The Lyceum has repeatedly become the winner of the competition "The Best School in Balashikha", as well as the winner of the regional competition "The Best School of the Moscow Region" in the category "Revival of Lyceum Traditions".

The Lyceum provides students with the opportunity to concessionary and paid meals. Reduced meals twice a day (breakfast and lunch) are received by children from large families, disabled children, orphans, children from foster families; Reduced breakfasts - other categories of benefits.

The academic year begins on September 1 and lasts until May 21-28, depending on the class and the end of the final certification.

The Lyceum teaches on a five-day basis - from Monday to Friday.
