The Lyceum was founded in 1982 as school # 542. MEPhI and its teachers brought to the school a new unusual base, well-equipped chemical and physical laboratories, a computing center (a mini-computer with 15 displays - this was atypical for a secondary school in 1982), new technologies, teaching aids, a high level of knowledge and requirements.
