Review about Leysin American School

Eileen
(09.03.2022)
Both of my sons study at this school. The children are happy. They really like the teachers, who know how to make their subjects interesting. Many lessons are held outdoors. Lots of hikes in the mountains and trips. If any issues arise, you can quickly contact the school staff and get answers. Before the pandemic, there were many interesting trips to other countries, like Tanzania. The majority of students are international. The school has specific quotas for international students, so the classes have a diverse mix of nationalities. The boys have made friends with students from France and Spain. So far, everything is working well.

High-level education. Available programs, the child with learning has no problems, although at home special talents the son did not seem to shine. The attitude towards students is friendly.

Our daughter studied at Leysin American for 2 years, from 2018 to 2020. I can say that the school provides a decent level of education. Good electives in visual arts and music. Before the pandemic, they offered many cultural trips. Good food and leisure program. We specifically chose an American school in Switzerland because we're planning for her to pursue higher education in the US. The subject preparation is good, and we were also pleased with the work of the academic advisors who help with career guidance. The price is quite reasonable.

We sent our children to the summer camp at this school. The camp was recommended by Smart Products and Services agency, which we approached to help us find options. We liked this school immediately, primarily for its location and architecture. Our manager, Elena Krupysheva, sent us detailed information about all the activities included in the program, and the kids approved. So in the end we chose this option and haven't regretted it! The school's location is truly excellent, lots of sports, and the excursions were genuinely interesting. We liked the accommodation and food. Our younger daughter has allergies to certain foods, we informed the school in advance, and they prepared an individual menu for her!
