The Krasnodar branch of the Financial University was founded in 1994 in the city of Krasnodar.

The learning process includes a course of lectures and seminars, practical and laboratory classes, educational and pre-diploma practice.

The educational process is organized in the following departments:

• Mathematics and Computer Science,
• Management & Marketing,
• Philosophy, History and Law,
• Economics and Finance.

The branch conducts research activities in the following areas:

• Harmonization of the structure of the economy and its regulation to ensure the long-term sustainable development of Russia,

In the Krasnodar branch there is a scientific school "Financial support for the development of the economy and social sphere".

The university provides a small dormitory for nonresident full-time students.

For meals for students and staff, the university has two buffets for 25 seats.

Educational activities are conducted in a single building, equipped with classrooms for lectures and seminars. The classrooms are equipped with modern and necessary equipment: screens, projectors, computers and electronic boards.

Students are given free access to the study library with a reading room.

For sports, the university has a gym equipped with equipment for people with disabilities:

At the Financial University, the academic year is divided into two semesters: autumn and spring. At the end of each of them, an examination session is held, after passing the students, they are given vacations (in winter in January, in summer in July and August).
