The Kirov Military Medical Academy (VMedA) is the first institution of higher education that educates medical servicemen for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

The school year lasts from September to early summer. Weekends are provided on the dates of state, national holidays. Days of dismissal are distributed among students individually.

For admission to secondary vocational education programs, education of military doctors, you will need:
- Age: from 16 to 30 years, if the student performed military service; up to 22 years old – if the applicant did not serve
- Diploma of the previous level of education, evaluation sheet
- Results of the Unified State Exam or individual entrance examinations
- Personal documents: passport, three photographs, service card, medical certificates, etc.
- Autobiography.
When enrolling in the academy, the student is obliged to live in it during the entire period of study, to comply with the terms of the contract. Each student is given a limited number of days to rest.
After admission, all applicants undergo camps lasting 15-25 days.
