Kirov branch of the Moscow University of Finance and Law, MFUA

The branch was established in 1997 in the city of Kirov. 

The learning process includes a course of lectures and seminars, practical and laboratory classes, educational and pre-diploma practice.

The educational process is organized in the following departments:

• Civil law disciplines,
• General humanitarian and socio-economic disciplines,
• Design
• Mathematical and natural sciences,
• Psychology
• Criminal law disciplines,
• Physical education and BJD,
• Economics and Management,
• State-legal disciplines.

The branch hosts the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Topical Issues of Modern Science and Education", in which participants from more than 30 organizations and 3 countries present themselves.

The Prozorov Society operates at the university, the main tasks of which are:

• The return of charitable activities in Russia, patronage,
• Propaganda of the activities of Prozorov Y. A. and some other merchants of Vyatsk,
• Participation of members of the society in charity,
• Cooperation with creative, educational and religious organizations in conducting cultural and educational events dedicated to the Vyatka history of entrepreneurship.

The university does not provide dormitories. For meals for students and staff, the university has a buffet and a canteen FoodCity for 74 seats.

To involve students in social and scientific activities, the university organizes and takes part in the following events:

• Review competition of talents of first-year students,
• KVN - Rector's Cup,
• New Year's matinee for employees' children,
• Event dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day,

The educational process takes place in one educational building, equipped with classrooms for lectures and seminars, practical and laboratory work. The classrooms are equipped with new modern technology: computers, a multimedia system and video cameras.

Students are given free access to the library with a reading room for 40 seats.

For sports, the branch has a sports and gym.

At the MFUA branch, the academic year is divided into two semesters: autumn and spring. At the end of each of them, an examination session is held, after passing the students, they are given vacations (in winter in January, in summer in July and August).
