KSUEL was founded in 1970 as the Khabarovsk Institute of National Economy. Today, the Khabarovsk State University of Economics and Law is the largest specialized state university in the Far East. Admission dates and extra charges
At KSUEL the academic year begins in the first half of September and is divided into two semesters: autumn and spring. Classes are held according to the schedule of a six-day working week. The beginning of classes is in accordance with the schedule of study groups. At the end of each semester, an examination session is held. Students are provided with vacation weekends: winter (January) and summer (July-August).

Enrolment process
Acceptance of documents for full-time education at KSUEL begins on June 20 and is conducted:
- until July 25 (according to the results of the exam),
- until July 15 (based on the results of entrance examinations conducted by the university independently).
The deadlines for entrance examinations are from July 1 to July 25.
At the same time, an applicant can apply for 3 directions.
