The Conservatory was founded in 1945 in the city of Kazan and educates students in the musical field.

The learning process includes a course of lectures and seminars, practical and laboratory classes, educational and pre-diploma practice.

For nonresident full-time students, the university provides a dormitory for 140 places.

For meals for students and staff, the university has two canteens for 177 seats and a buffet for 20 seats.
