The Institute was founded in 2011 in the city of Nizhny Novgorod.

The learning process includes a course of lectures and seminars, practical and laboratory classes, educational and pre-diploma practice.

The university provides nonresident full-time students with a dormitory for 153 places.

For meals for students and staff, the university has two canteens and a buffet for a total of 180 seats.

The educational process takes place on the basis of two educational buildings equipped with classrooms for lectures and seminars, practical and laboratory work. The classrooms are equipped with modern technology: screens, projectors, computers and electronic whiteboards.

Students are given free access to the study library with a reading room.

For sports, the institute has two sports halls and a sports ground of a wide profile.

At IPTD, the academic year is divided into two semesters: autumn and spring. At the end of each, an examination session is held, after passing the students, they are given vacations (in winter in January, in summer in July and August).
