Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University (I. Kant BFU) is the oldest institution of higher education in the Kaliningrad region. The university has been named after the German philosopher Immanuel Kant since 2005. Among the students and staff of the university, the nickname "Cantiana" was fixed.

The institution is one of the nine federal universities of Russia, one of the centers of higher education in the North-West of the Russian Federation.
