Gymnasium "English", Magadan

In 2014, the gymnasium celebrated its 20th anniversary. All these years, this educational organization has been led by the Honored Teacher of the Russian Federation, the excellent student of education, the Honorary Worker of Education of the Magadan Region.
The educational system of the gymnasium with in-depth study of the English language is aimed at a high quality of knowledge, annually confirmed by the results of exams, Olympiads, scientific and practical conferences. On account of the students of the gymnasium:

• 1st place in the All-Russian Olympiad in Law;
• II place in the All-Russian Olympiad in English;
• II place in the All-Russian Olympiad in the Russian language;
• II place in the All-Russian Literature Olympiad.

In the gymnasium, the canteen provides hot meals to students and employees according to a strictly 20-day menu approved by Rospotrebnadzor. From February 2021, the region will pay monthly and annual child benefits and a monthly food allowance for schoolchildren. The monthly food allowance will cover students daily expenses at school.

After school hours, students of the gymnasium participate in:

In the building of the gymnasium, all classrooms are adapted for comfortable and effective teaching of schoolchildren: stationary PCs, interactive whiteboards and projectors are used. Physical education lessons are held in the gym, which has basketball backboards, a tennis table, exercise equipment and sports equipment. On the territory there is a large playground equipped with a special coating for practicing various sports:

• General physical training (a variety of exercise equipment).

The academic year begins on September 1st.

• Additional holidays for first graders: February 3 - February 9.

When enrolling in a gymnasium, all future gymnasium students are tested for knowledge of the English language. For admission to the first grades, a completed application is required from the child's parents / legal representatives. Receiving of documents is carried out from 1 February to 1 July in the presence of a territorial attachment to the school. At the time of enrollment, the child must be 6 years and 5 months old, but not more than 7 years old.
