Gymnasium №4 Novosibirsk

The history of school №4 begins in 1996: until that time, the building housed educational institution №88. In 2014, the gymnasium entered the top 500 schools in Russia. Today, the gymnasium successfully teaches students of all classes in English, French and Chinese, prepares them for admission to universities. Good results of passing entrance exams to higher educational institutions (100% admission) made it possible to conclude agreements with NSMU, NGTU, NGPU, NSAEU.

The gymnasium provides preferential and paid types of meals. The benefit can be received by children from low-income, large and socially unprotected families, if the parents / legal representatives fill out an application and provides certificates.

Additional extracurricular education at gymnasium №4:

The classrooms of the gymnasium are equipped with the necessary materials for safe and effective learning:

• The security system works automatically. There are fire smoke detectors and extinguishing agents in the corridors;

• In the library, students can use educational methodological and fiction literature;
• The gymnasium is equipped with gymnastic equipment, basketball hoops and various equipment for sports games, and the stadium in the school courtyard is equipped with a covering for running and physical education;

The academic year begins on September 1st. Classes are held in two shifts:

• In the first shift study: the school day lasts from 8:00 to 13:45;
• In the second shift: the duration of the school day is from 13:55 to 18:20.

Students in grades 1 are taught on a five-day work week, 2-11 - on a six-day work week.

List of vacations:

• October 28 - November 4;
• December 30 - January 10;
• February 22 - 28;
• March 29 - April 4;
• April 26 - May 2 (additional holidays for 1 grade).

The end of the school year is May 25.

To enroll in gymnasium №4, the parents / legal representatives of the future student are required to fill out an application and attach the child's documents to it:

• Birth certificate (original and copy);
• Certificate of registration of the child at the place of residence of the parents in the assigned territory (original and copy);
• Passport of one of the parents;
• Medical card and medical insurance policy are provided as soon as they are ready.

The grant can be received by gifted students who have been confirming their success in studies and out-of-school education for more than a year ( having a learning degree at the end of a half-year (year) of at least 0.64). Grants are awarded twice a year (January and September). The payment of the grant is allocated for students in grades 2-11 of the gymnasium and depends on the rating of students.
