Founded in 1836, the Gould Academy (Academy of Gould Academy) is one of the best schools in the United States to teach students aged 13-19 (including foreigners) to enter prestigious universities in the United States. The campus is comfortably located in the state of Maine, a small town of Bethel near the picturesque, majestic White Mountain: students can enjoy beautiful scenery every day.

The main purpose of the Academy's work is to create a clear motivation for students to achieve high goals and achievements, to give them a stable foundation of academic knowledge and to develop a fully developed, multifaceted and talented personality that will benefit the international community. Gifted and persistent students can even get a personal Ski Patroller certificate!

The total number of students in the school is 220-250 people: 30-50 students represent different countries of the world (including Japan, South Korea, Turkey, Germany and Slovakia). Foreign students receive language help and support, including a course in preparation for the passing of the TOEFL language exam. Classes include up to 12 people maximum, and the ratio of teachers to students is 1: 5. Over 99% of graduates successfully enroll in selected universities: often the Berkeley College of Music, Pratt Institute, Rhode Island Design School.

The boarding school is open from 14 years old. Students are offered cozy, comfortable residences and board meals (three times a day + useful snacks, constant access to clean water and drinks). The rooms are designed for 2 people: they are fully furnished and equipped with the necessary minimum of home appliances.
