Germany has been a point of attraction for international students for many years. Many future applicants know from their school years that in any of the universities in Germany, if they enter there, they will be supported, taught at a high-quality level and contribute to successful career development.
Over the past year, the number of foreign students in German educational centers has increased by almost 3%, the total number amounted to 380,000 people - this is about 13% of the total number of students. The number of young and experienced researchers from different countries is 75,000 +. This is a record for Germany, due to which the country was second after the United States of America in the ranking of countries with scientific potential.
A large number of international researchers who choose Germany as a platform for their professional development come to the country from India. Approximately 80% of foreign scientists work at universities, colleges and other German educational centers, almost 4,000 of them are professors. 6,700 researchers came from India, 5,900 from China, and 5,800 from Italy.
Indians are actively enrolling in the first years of German universities, and not only developing their scientific careers. Over the past academic year, after the end of the admission campaign, the number of students from India was approximately 49,000 people.
