School number 27 named after I.A. Bunina began its history even before the 1917 revolution - for a long time in this building there was one of the first all-class women's gymnasiums in Russia. In 2011, at the initiative of the Union of Writers of St. Petersburg, the school was named after Ivan Alekseevich Bunin, and since then the school has been operating in its current form of education.

The discount is provided in the amount of 70% of the cost of meals.

The school's meal schedule is based on a 12-day cyclical menu, students have the right to eat every 3.5-4 hours.

The material and technical equipment in each building is created in accordance with all safety and sanitary standards. All classrooms are equipped for comfortable and effective learning. Sports and assembly halls are equipped with the necessary equipment for classes and events. The academic year begins on September 1 and lasts 33–34 weeks (until May 25). The school works in the first shift mode. The school week in grades 1–6 consists of five days, in grades 7–11 - of six.
