GAOU Gymnasium of Russian Culture

The gymnasium of Russian culture as a structural subdivision of the Tyumen State Institute of World Economy, Management and Law was founded in 1997, and as a separate educational institution of incomplete secondary education began to exist in 2016. The school has a lot of good reviews from the parents of students - they speak of a good level of education and the success of students in extracurricular life.

SUMMER CAMP

The summer camp on the basis of the school works in one shift from June 3 to June 24 and accepts about 65 children (3 teams of 20-25 people) aged 7-10 years.

The main task of the summer camp is to familiarize children with creativity, health-improving activities, the formation of culture, the development of already acquired and the identification of new talents of students.

The cost of a child's stay in the camp will cost about 9,000 rubles per shift.

The gymnasium provides students in grades 1-11 with paid meals in the amount of 80 to 237 rubles per meal. To provide meals, the child's parent / guardian must complete an application form addressed to the school principal.

Additional education in the gymnasium is presented in the form of paid circles and sections:

1. Sport games
2. Chess Club
3. Learning to play musical instruments
4. Dancing
5. Artistic direction - drawing, construction and modeling
6. Learning foreign languages
7. Vocal studio
8. Advanced courses for studying general subjects.

Many students attending circles and sections participate in exhibitions, creative projects, tournaments and competitions in the chosen direction.

After school hours, schoolchildren go on excursions - in the 2019–2020 academic year, the gymnasium classes visited the Coca-Cola plant, the Sverdlovsk film studio, an ecological nursery, military museums and sights of the city and region.

Students also participate in the design of the school's museum corner, where exhibitions such as "My Mom's Favorite Toy" are held.

On a regular basis, the gymnasium promotes children's participation in:

1. All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren
2. Reading competition
3. Subject Olympiads.

The classrooms of the gymnasium are fully equipped with the necessary subjects and materials for teaching students. On the territory of the school there is a sports stadium - a field for football, in the building there is a hall for physical education and with equipment and simulators, a dance hall.

Classrooms use stationary PCs, interactive whiteboards and projectors. Children can take educational, methodological and fiction literature in the library by subscription.

The academic year begins on September 1 and is divided into quarters:

• 1st quarter: September 1 - October 24
• 2nd quarter: November 5 - December 26
• 3rd quarter: January 11 - March 20
• 4th quarter: March 29 - May 29.

Vacation:

• October 26 - November 4
• December 28 - January 10
• February 22 - February 28
• March 22 - March 28.

Lessons for grades 1-4 begin at 8:10, end at 13:40 - then the time for additional lessons is determined (until 18:00).

Lessons for grades 5-11 begin at 8:30 and end at 14:50, after which time is also allocated for circles and sections (until 15:30).
