Dalrybvtuz was founded on April 8, 1930.

The learning process includes a course of lectures and seminars, practical and laboratory classes, educational, industrial and pre-diploma practice.

• The economy of the fisheries industry, including the formation of the development of the domestic market, stimulating entrepreneurial activity and attracting capital to the fishing industry,
• Socio-structural processes and changes in the Russian and world communities, including in the fisheries sector,
• Development of science and technology, issues of education of the qualified personnel in the field of fisheries,
• Development of international cooperation in the field of education, science, engineering and technology.

Dalrybvtuz conducts international cooperation with the following organizations:

The learning process is carried out in 7 buildings equipped with master's and postgraduate rooms, classrooms for lecture and seminar classes and laboratories. Classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards, computers, projectors, speakers, teaching aids, etc.
