Program name

Classical gymnasium №610 teaches its pupils the ancient languages - Latin and Greek, two modern - English and German, a lot of time is devoted to the study of mathematics. Each year, students take transfer exams for the next grade.

Basic education (11-15 years old / 5-9 grades): a program containing basic subjects and in-depth study of the disciplines selected for passing the OGE.

Secondary education (16-18 years old / grades 10-11): a program consisting of general education subjects and in-depth study of the disciplines selected for passing the exam.

There are no specialized classes in the gymnasium - all students study the main program, however, more time is allocated to languages and mathematics.

Accommodation, housing and food

Paid and discounted meals are organized in canteens of both buildings of the school. You can eat for a fee by subscription:

Circles and sections of additional education in the gymnasium are provided in five directions:

  1. Technical - lessons in dynamic programming, where computer science is studied in more depth, namely, algorithms and programs.
  2. Natural science - solving Olympiad problems, in-depth study of such sciences as geochemistry, botany, geography, algebra, etc.
  3. Socio-pedagogical - additional study of foreign languages, history and culture, economics.

Extracurricular activities involve the participation of students in subject Olympiads, events, research activities and thematic excursions. The gymnasium regularly organizes archaeological expeditions and hiking trips.

Events dedicated to calendar holidays are organized in the assembly hall of the gymnasium - performances at New Year's balls, concerts for Mother's Day, Defender of the Fatherland Day, etc.

On cooperation with the Hermitage: twice a month, art history lessons are held in one of the main museums in St. Petersburg.

The academic year begins on September 1 and lasts until May 24 (grades 9 and 11) and May 31 (grades 1-8, 10) = 34 academic weeks.
