Summer shifts

Summer shifts give creative students the opportunity to effectively immerse themselves in the study of the film industry under the guidance of talented teachers. For two weeks, students will attend eight-hour classes in a variety of locations, from comfortable classrooms to hot air balloon rides, motorcycle rides and water pools. All students will be able to try themselves in different areas: directing, acting, shooting editing and much more. At the end of the shift, each student will be able to present a full-fledged project.
Program "Enter the director"
- Age – from 17 years
- The training period is 3 months.
This course is designed for school graduates wishing to enter creative specialties in universities. The program will help applicants prepare for admission, collect a decent portfolio. Classes will be held twice a week with a personal tutor who monitors the progress and performance of individual tasks.
Film Actor Program
- Age – from 10 to 17 years
- Duration of training – 6 months
- Cost – 12 000 rub.
Students of the course are divided into groups from 10 to 12 and from 13 to 17 years old, forming a comfortable environment for training and classes. The program is aimed at training future film actors, contains many hours of practice and theory from leading representatives of the film industry. Students will learn to hear the director, stay "under the gun" of the cameras for a long time, work with the text of the script and much more. Classes will be held twice a week for six months, separate days are allocated for the filming process.
Editing Director Program
- Age – from 13 to 17 years
- Training period – 2 months
- The cost of the course is 22 000 rubles.
Twice a week for two months, students meet with teachers to explore the art of editing, work with film material and master computer programs. At the end of the course, each student will be able to edit a video no worse than at least television advertising, will have an impressive creative portfolio.
VFX Artist Program
- Age – from 13 to 17 years
- Training period – 2 months
- The cost per month is 12 800 rubles.
This program consists of theoretical and practical blocks, the basis of which is the art of visual effects. Students work with 2D-, 3D-graphics, are engaged in retouching and modeling under the supervision of highly qualified professionals. The best of the graduates of the course can get a job in the production studio "Tsekha".
Film Production Program
- Age – from 13 to 17 years
- The training period is 3 years.
For three years, students study the film industry from basic basics to the creation of a motion picture. Training takes place in small groups of 13 people, and the teaching staff includes 15 industry teachers. The program includes seven disciplines:
- acting,
- Producing
- montage
- direction
- cameramanship,
- screenwriting skills,
- history of cinema.
Each student will be able to try themselves in any of the areas of film production, eventually deciding on a career path. At the end of the course, students are issued a diploma of additional professional education.
Kinokouch Program
- Age – teachers
- Duration of training – 4 weeks
- Course dates: 11 July-5 August.
This programme is aimed at additional professional training of teachers already working in the field of television and film. Students of this course teach disciplines in the film camp on summer shifts, and training takes place in small groups of 10-15 people. At the end of the program, each student defends a personal project, after which he receives a certificate of completion of additional education.

The city film camp "Tsekh" is open in the summer months on the basis of the film school of the same name. In this institution, those who live by creativity are educated, because the "Workshop" is a school of acting, shooting and producing a full cycle. The school's programs allow students to fully immerse themselves in the creation of films.
The teaching staff includes successful and experienced actors, directors, producers and creative directors.
"Tsekh" provides programs lasting three years, two-week, three- and six-month special courses.
Accommodation, meals, prices
The cinema camp does not provide accommodation. All students of summer programs are provided with a hot set lunch.

Facilities and equipment at City Film Camp "Tsekh"
The educational campus is located near the metro stations "Taganskaya" and "Marksistskaya" on Bolshoy Drovyany Lane.
Classes are held both in well-equipped classrooms and in completely unexpected places. In 2021, one of the courses included shooting in a balloon, two years ago - in a pavilion with a deep pool. A large number of equipment and scenery are provided for filming: students are immersed in the process of filmmaking thanks to the technical infrastructure of the school and the ideas of the teachers.
Admission dates and extra charges
Summer shifts are held:
- 27 June-8 July
- 18-29 July
- August 8-19.
Students are divided into age groups: 12-14 and 15-17 years. Classes are held for two weeks for eight hours a day. Lessons are conducted by practicing teachers consisting of 7-8 people, and groups include a small number of students - from 10 to 12.
Also in the "Workshop" long-term courses from four weeks to three years are held.
The school does not provide accommodation, meals and additional services.
