Capella University (CU) is a private, non-profit online university that teaches 52 programs with more than 1900 courses. About 38,000 undergraduate, master's and doctoral students from 50 states and 61 countries study online. About 95% of students study part-time. Accommodation is offered throughout the United States in hotels. To reduce student costs, places of residence are chosen in accessible proximity to the largest number of students in need of housing. Previous residences were organized in Arlington, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Orlando.

Accommodation is part of a course with four credits. The price includes laboratory work, breakfasts, lunches and snacks, but students independently pay for dinners, air tickets, personal expenses.
