Buryat Institute of Infocommunications is a branch of SibSUTI

BIIC SibSUTI was established on July 31, 1999. BIC SibSUTI conducts continuous multi-level education of specialists in the field of IT technologies.

The learning process includes:

• a course of lectures and seminars,
• practical exercises,
• professional, design and research practices.

The educational process of BIIK SibSUTI is organized in 4 departments:

• Higher mathematics and general professional disciplines,
• Informatics and Computer Engineering,
• Socio-economic disciplines,
• Telecommunication systems.

BIIK SibSUTI provides a dormitory for 466 beds. The cost of living is 550 rubles per month.

For meals for students and staff, a canteen for 120 seats is equipped.

To involve students in social and scientific activities, BIIK SibSUTI organizes and participates in the following events:

The process of formation of the BIIC SibSUTI is organized in a single educational and administrative building. The educational building has classrooms and classes for practical classes. The classrooms are equipped with: a blackboard, visual aids, portable multimedia equipment with a screen, laboratory stands, measuring equipment, etc. Students are given free access to the library.

Sports facilities:

At BIIK SibSUTI, the academic year is divided into two semesters: autumn and spring. At the end of each, an examination session is held, after passing the students, they are given vacations (in winter in January, in summer in July and August).

For admission to the BIIK SibSUTI, you must provide:

• Proof of identity, citizenship,
• State-recognized certificate of education and qualifications,
• Confirmation of individual achievements, the results of which are taken into account when admitting.

If necessary, the applicant also provides:

• Proof of disability or disability,
• Confirmation of passing centralized testing,
• Confirmation that the applicant belongs to the persons who are granted the corresponding special right.

The necessary package of documents is provided to the institute:

At the moment, more than 500 students are studying at BIIK SibSUTI. About 70 state-funded places are allocated annually.

For admission to undergraduate educational programs, an applicant must:

1. Completed education not lower than secondary general,
2. Successful completion of the entrance test. Minimum passing scores:

• Elements of Higher Mathematics - 27,
• Fundamentals of Information Technology – 40,
• Physical Foundations of Electrical Engineering — 36.

3. Points received for the exam. Minimum passing scores:

• Russian language — 36,
• Mathematics — 27,
• Informatics and ICT — 40,
•  Physics — 36.

Types of scholarships:

• State Academic,
• state social,
• of the President of the Russian Federation,
• Government of the Russian Federation,
• Government of the Republic of Buryatia,
• appointed by legal entities or individuals.
