Summer Course: Software Development & AI

  • Age of  students– from 15 to 18 years,
  • The studying period is two weeks.

This summer course provides students with in-depth knowledge, applied skills, and an understanding of the fundamentals of software development, artificial intelligence. Over the course of two weeks, students will focus on four modules:

  • Introduction to the practice of coding, software engineering,
  • Developer Coding Workshop – Teamwork with Silicon Valley experts during intensive workshops,
  • Artificial Intelligence: Concepts, Applications,
  • Data-driven decision-making using machine learning.

The curriculum provides not only intensive group work, but also the creation of an individual project that will complement each student's portfolio by the end of their studies. Under the guidance of qualified teachers and visiting specialists, students will master important aspects of software and AI development in order to continue their educational path at the university in this specialization.

The student schedule includes many excursions, campus activities to complement the academic experience.

Summer Course: Medicine

  • Age of students – from 15 to 18 years,
  • The studying period is two weeks.

The summer course offers middle and high school students effective preparation for admission to English-speaking universities in the United States and abroad for medical sciences programs. Over the course of two weeks, students will gain knowledge about anatomy, biomedical sciences and patient care through interactive seminars, lectures with invited specialists and practical classes. The curriculum includes 40 academic hours of theory and practice, during which students will master four modules:

  • Medical research, theory,
  • Human physiology, diseases,
  • Innovations in medicine,
  • Individual medical examination.

The last module involves working on an individual project, which students present at the end of their studies. Project activities will help them consolidate the knowledge gained, obtain experience in argumentation and presentation, communication with competent specialists.

Throughout their stay at the center, students are provided with a varied leisure plan with visits to Boston attractions, on-campus entertainment, participation in external workshops and seminars. Summer Course: Engineering

  • Age of students – from 15 to 18 years,
  • The studying period is two weeks.

The summer program aimed at the study of engineering offers students effective immersion in the basics and subtleties of this field, working under the guidance of qualified teachers and visiting specialists. In two weeks, students will take four modules:

  • Electrical engineering
  • Engineering
  • Materials Science,
  • Solution development.

The fourth module is work on the project. Students will be presented with a problem, the solution of which they will work on in pairs; Applying the knowledge and skills gained, they will create an engineering prototype and present it to their classmates, industry experts. The project will perfectly complement the portfolio of each student, increase the chances of admission to the chosen university.

In addition to immersing themselves in the study of engineering, students can expect a variety of excursions with visits to the sights of Boston, exciting campus activities.

Business management is one of the most sought-after specializations of our time, providing extensive career opportunities. The summer course offers students to immerse themselves in the basics and intricacies of business management under the guidance of industry specialists and highly qualified teachers, participate in a variety of excursions and events, and visit the campuses of the country's leading universities.

The curriculum of the program consists of 40 academic hours of theory and practice, which are allocated for the taking four modules:

  • Introduction to Business Strategy, Management,
  • Business fundamentals, important skills,
  • Leadership, decision-making,
  • Individual business project.

The last module involves individual project activities - the implementation of a business idea using the knowledge and skills gained. Students will present their project to invited speakers and teachers, gaining experience in presentation, argumentation and communication with competent specialists.

In the process of learning, each student receives comprehensive support from teachers and personal mentors, thanks to which they achieve the main goal - they gain the necessary skills to continue their academic path at the university of their choice.

Boston Summer School invites students from 15 to 18 years old, offering specialized courses to prepare for entering university. During the two-week study, students will be able to master the theory and gain practical skills in one of the four in-demand areas: business management, engineering, medicine or software development, artificial intelligence.

Students of summer courses are gradually adapting to the upcoming university educational environment thanks to studying on the campus of one of the best institutions in the United States — Suffolk University. International students who are not native English speakers are offered comprehensive language and academic support. Students are accommodated in modern rooms in one of the residences of Suffolk University.

Students are provided with balanced meals, which are already included in the cost of all course options: with or without accommodation. Students have access to the dining room, which serves breakfasts and dinners prepared from a varied menu with international cuisine.

Activities Boston Summer School

The extracurricular life of pupils consists of a variety of campus and off-site activities. There are many places to visit in Boston, from the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, Harvard Square, to Cambridge Common, the Lonfellot House. These attractions are included in the excursion plan along with a visit to the campuses of Harvard and Massachusetts (MIT), thanks to which students will learn about the history, equipment and academic programs of these universities. Students can also take a boat ride on the Charles River, allowing them to enjoy the architecture and sights of the city from the water.

Entertainment activities are organized on campus almost every evening, ranging from talent shows, quizzes to picnics and movie screenings. The largest event will be a graduation party with a gala dinner, at which students receive certificates and celebrate the completion of their studies.

Admission dates and extra charges

Courses usually take place in July (the exact dates will be specified for you by the manager), each of them lasts two weeks. A balanced schedule will include academic classes and seminars with invited specialists, daily entertainment: excursions or campus events.

The cost of the programs already includes the following services:

Enrolment process

Applicants fill out an online form, pay the registration fee and get acquainted with representatives of the summer school. Employees provide all the necessary information, an invitation for a visa, check the level of English proficiency for the correct distribution of students into groups. After receiving an official invitation to study, candidates should pay a deposit to book a place on the course, and then come to the campus to start their studies.

Enrolment statistics

New students are admitted at the beginning of the programs and subject to availability. Since one of the main aspects of education is individual attention to each pupil, the enrollment of students is limited.
