Bath Academy's academic approach is based on personal attention to each student, which makes the institution unique and attracts students with different levels of qualification and ability. As one of the main elements, Bath Academy applies an individual approach, directly and directly interacting with each student. Such a personal approach serves as a powerful and effective educational tool: under the supervision of caring adults, adolescents increase their motivation for thoughtful and serious learning, direct their curiosity in the right direction and become more receptive to new information.

The school appreciates and tries to develop dynamism and initiative. Here we are convinced that along with good academic performance, initiative, diligence, excellent communication skills, a positive approach to life and dedication, willingness to take responsibility and contribute make a person successful.

Activities Bath Academy

Among the most notable sights of Bath are the Roman baths, as well as the abbey. Very popular with tourists is the local boat station, the embankments of the Kenneth Canal and Ivon.

Near the city is the ancient city of Bristol, which is attractive not only as a historical and cultural site, but also as a science center, as well as many other places of interest and objects, including the famous suspension bridge. Also from Bath you can get to Salisbury to inspect the famous spires of the famous cathedral, which houses the Magna Carta. Finally, anyone can get an unforgettable experience of a holiday on the coast in such resort towns as Bournemouth and Clavendon.

Advantages

Bath Academy is characterized by:

  • High quality of teaching

Teachers are highly qualified, passionate about their subjects and well versed in them, and a comfortable and proactive school environment will allow them to focus on the learning process and find an individual approach to each student.

  • Excellent exam results (including for repeat courses)

The Academy strives to ensure that even the most successful students still go through the trials of difficulties, and those who need additional help receive it. It accepts students with different experience and abilities, helping them to enter the world's strongest universities and start a professional career.

The best proof of this is the results of students who re-pass the A-level: on average, the improvement is 2 points in each subject.

  • Diverse and international student body

The Bath Academy welcomes diversity in all kinds and forms. Teenagers from dozens of countries study at the academy, and everyone benefits from purposeful work on learning English, high-quality vocational education and an individual approach. And compact classes allow students to select teams of the same level of depth of language proficiency, which ensures effective progress in learning.

  • Small classes

On average, the class size here is 3 students, there is not a single class where the number of students would exceed 8 people. 1 student per 1 teacher is also not uncommon. All of this allows teachers to focus on the student's needs, and regular assessment, thoughtful analytical work, and curriculum flexibility do the rest.

  • Compact and friendly community

A noticeable plus of small schools is that everyone knows each other, the atmosphere of the school is imbued with care and attention. This applies equally to teachers and educators, host families and social workers: at any time there is an adult with whom you can discuss any issues, and the informal atmosphere allows you to feel at ease and comfortable.

  • Support for admission to the university

Individual curricula allow teachers to consult about the future: students can be sure that they will get the best possible place in a higher education institution of their choice. The Academy has established friendly relations with the University of Bath and other local universities, which guarantees high awareness of employees.

  • Life and study in Bath

Bath, without exaggeration, is one of the most beautiful and safest cities in the world. It is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List for its countless architectural monuments and wealth of museums, galleries and intangible heritage. To all this is attached many places for recreation, cinemas, theaters and shops.

  • Secure, guarded campus in the city centre

The boarding house of the Academy pleases with home furnishings, safety and comfort, which allows you to study calmly and efficiently. Pupils can live in dormitories or separate rooms and eat in the dining room. Plus cohabitation - in the formation of educational groups, support and mutual assistance, control of educators 24/7. Students who have reached the age of 18 can also reside on campus or use the services of one of the many student dormitories.

Facilities and equipment at Bath Academy

The school is located in Bath, an exquisite Georgian town in the South West of England, which is an impressive collection of masterpieces of history and architecture. At the same time, it is a lively university city with a dynamically developing community, where scientific and creative life is in full swing all year round, and sports life does not lag behind.

However, Bath is considered one of the safest cities in England. The combination of these qualities makes the city an ideal place to study: the city is small, it is easy to navigate, but life is so active that it will not leave anyone indifferent! In addition, the city has many shops and boutiques, antique and vintage shops, a flea market will not leave indifferent lovers of antiquity, and a variety of catering establishments will please the most whimsical gourmets.

School classrooms are equipped with powerful electronics that allow you to use modern software and access the Internet via a broadband channel.
