Nonresident and foreign students are allocated a place to live on the territory of UGSU in one of the 4 buildings of the campus. Dormitory buildings are equipped with fire safety systems and video surveillance, there is a pass system.
The cost of living in a hostel is an average of 1040 rubles per month, the cost depends on the building of the hostel and the period of residence (heated or unheated season).
Students are nourished in two ways. During the academic day, students can visit the university canteen between classes, and during extracurricular hours they can cook their own lunch in the kitchens equipped in each building of the dormitories.

The educational buildings of UGSU are located in the center of Yekaterinburg, you can get there by any type of public transport. In total, the University has 14 academic buildings at its disposal.
The average classrooms can accommodate about 30 seats. Lecture halls are equipped to connect a laptop and a projector, classrooms for practical classes are equipped with computers, technical teaching aids and information stands. All buildings are partially adapted to the education of persons with disabilities.
Separately equipped sports building with an open stadium. There is a medical center and a sports doctor.
Admission dates and extra charges
The beginning of the academic year at UGSU is dated September 1, the end depends on the schedule of the educational process. One education course consists of two semesters and two intermediate examination sessions. Holidays during one academic year are on average 8-9 weeks in duration, excluding holidays.

Enrolment process
Acceptance of documents for full-time education in UGSU begins on June 20 of this year. At the same time, an applicant can apply for 5 areas of study. Deadlines for accepting documents for state-funded places:
- Until July 20 - for persons entering on the basis of the results of entrance examinations conducted by the University independently;
- Until July 25 - for persons entering the unified state exam.
The deadline for accepting documents for paid places is August 19.

- in electronic form (through the portal "Public Services").
