Nizhny Novgorod State Agricultural Academy (NGAA) is the largest institution of higher education of the Volga region in the agrarian region.
The basis for the current academy was the agrarian faculties of Nizhny Novgorod State University, allocated in 1930. Initially, the NGAA bore the title of Gorky Agricultural Institute, the current name was received after the Great Patriotic War. Over the entire history of its existence, more than 30,000 veterinarians, agronomists, engineers and other specialists have been graduated from the university.

Students of the Academy live in five dormitories, one of them is equipped with ramps, signs, auxiliary signs for persons with disabilities.
