Lyceum No. 1547 cooperates with MEPhI: university teachers teach at the school, students study in the laboratories of general chemistry and general physics of the university, study at the MEPhI libraries, professors supervise the design work of students, conduct training courses for applicants.

The school has introduced a modular learning mode. Pupils of grades 2-9 study in terms of terms, 10-11 grades - in half-years (semesters).

Lessons at school number 1547 are held for a 5-day school week, and on Saturdays, students conduct intensive classes, participate in extracurricular activities and outings. The duration of the lessons is 45 minutes. Classes at the school are held in one shift.

Lyceum No. 1547 accepts students in grades 5-10 of the physics and mathematics direction on the basis of a competition: applicants take exams in mathematics, physics and Russian.

The educational institution accepts students in the 8th grade of the physical and mathematical direction.

Schoolchildren wear uniforms:

Boys - white shirt, black or navy blue suit, black or navy blue tie.
Girls - a classic suit in black or dark blue, a blouse under a tie, a tie. A classic cut sundress with a white blouse, a plain dress, only black or dark blue with a white collar.
