Kuban State Agrarian University named after I.T. Trubilin (KubSAU) is one of the largest agrarian institutions of higher education in Russia. In 1918, the Agricultural Department was established at the Kuban Polytechnicum, which in 1922 was transformed into an independent institution. Almost 70 years later, the university received its current name.
Now in KubSAU there are 17 specialized faculties in the following areas:

- Full-time students start the year in September and finish at the end of May. During this time, two semesters pass, two sessions are passed. Classes, depending on the schedule, begin at 8:00, last until 18:50. One pair – 1.5 hours.
- The correspondence form of education is characterized by a semi-remote format - a visit to the campus for these students occurs only during the sessions. The beginning of the year varies from October to November, the end - in early June.
Vacations for both forms are provided in winter and summer: January, June-August.
