Description of Higher School of Economics (HSE)
Higher School of Economics (HSE) - a non-profit public state university, which is located in the center of the capital of the Russian Federation, Moscow. In St. Petersburg, Perm and Nizhny Novgorod, there are branches of the institution. HSE was founded on a government initiative in 1992, which later received the status of a national research university.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol
Admission to the Higher School of Economics is based on exams. This requirement is relevant for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies. Graduates of schools entering the bachelor degree must submit the results of passing the EGE. The list of subjects and the passing score for each of them is posted on the official website of the university. For admission to the master's program, applicants take an exam in a foreign language and specialized subject.
Among the special requirements is the provision of a portfolio for admission to creative specialties (architecture, design, etc.). Deadlines for submission of documents may vary, so it is better to get acquainted with them at the official resources of the university.
For applicants who have won the All-Russian subject olympiads, there are incentives for admission - they come out of the competition.
Payment and financing of eduaction
For domestic students, tuition fees at the Higher School of Economics need to pay from 270,000 to 440,000 rubles per year for undergraduate and 220,000 to 330,000 rubles per year for the magistracy. Such variability in matters of payment is associated with a system of discounts for students with high academic achievements, for which they can offer discounts from 20% to 100%. Also, the faculty matters, as the price may differ for different faculties. For foreign undergraduate students the amount of payment for the year of study will be 4,368 USD / year, and for masters - 3,900 USD / year.
