The State University for Land Management (GUZ) is the largest university in the field of cadastral technologies, land management, architecture, geodesy. The institution was opened in 1930 through the division of the Mezhevoy Institute into two universities: GUZ and MIIGAiK.
It now consists of seven faculties:

The Tourist Club of the State Educational Institution organizes hikes and trips around the country in the spring-summer period, providing the necessary equipment. The Student Council together with the leadership of the university offer excursion tours around Russia, sights.

Admission dates and extra charges
There are two semesters in the academic year containing even, non-even weeks. Between semesters, sessions are organized: winter and summer. You can study at full-time, part-time, correspondence forms, the number of hours of classes depends on the form. In the full-time department, couples are held from Monday to Friday, sometimes on Saturdays.
Long holidays are organized in winter and summer; weekends – on Sunday, on public holidays.
