Accommodation, housing and food

Lyceum No. 1 of the city of Bryansk provides lyceum students and boarding school pupils with regular meals at intervals of 3.5-4 hours.

Accommodation in a hostel is provided for students in grades 8-11 from other cities and towns and costs 160 rubles per day - children from large, low-income families are an exception and live free. To receive benefits, the student's parents or legal guardians must provide:

Lyceum students take part in the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren and take prizes: at the end of 2018-2019, out of 34 participating students, 6 took first place.

Lyceum No. 1 teaches students in five and six days , depending on the class: 5-9 - five school days, 10-11 - six school days. The academic year begins on September 1:

  • 5-9 grades - 35 academic weeks
  • 10-11 grades - 34 academic weeks, excluding the USE and OGE.

The academic year officially ends on May 31st.

Lessons start at 8:30, the maximum number of lessons per day is 9. Lesson lasts 45 minutes.

The ninth lesson ends at 5:05 pm from Monday to Friday and at 4:45 pm on Saturday.
