School description

Woodhouse Grove School is a private school for children from 3 to 18 years old. In the distant 1812 it was created by the representatives of the Methodist Church as a school for boys, and nowadays it is already an educational center for mixed studying, having a flexible educational system.

The school aims to educate and develop its students in the best traditions of Christianity. By an individual approach to each child, school teachers help their students to improve intellectually, without forgetting about spiritual values. Also according to statistics, Woodhouse Grove School has some of the best GCSE exam scores (score 93.5%) and A-level (100%).

Another feature of the Woodhouse Grove school is that this institution is directly connected with the literary family Bronte: it was here that Patrick met his future wife Maria, who became the mother of the famous writers Charlotte, Emily and Anne Bronte. In memory of this historic event, one of the buildings of the school still bears the family name of this family - the House of Bronte.
