The Center offers courses for professional development and professional development for teachers who hold the TESOL / TEFL certificate and conduct active teaching activities. The courses are conducted online and provide an opportunity for further education and professional skills. There are two types of classes:
- Customized Programs
The program is tailored to the specific needs of the individual student or group. Education can include a special course, such as research in the US, business English or intercultural interaction. Participants can be English teachers, university professors, specialists of other languages or other specialists. The courses have special dates and different duration of studies.
- Content Area Teacher Training
The CATT course is designed to help current teachers from various disciplinary layers in the transition to the English average instruction (EMI) in their field. The course will provide teachers with skills in materials modification, methodology, assessment, and lesson planning. The course can be customized according to the needs of the particular institution in terms of length and content, education is available in ordinary, mixed formats or fully in online format. The program includes modules in such areas as: English Medium Instruction: Theory and Practice; Materials Modification and Development; Assessment; Observations; L1 Issues / Second Language Acquisition Theory; Practicum.
